On Thursday 16th November, St Kevin's invited guests from the local community and further afield to celebrate the achievements of our pupils in the use of the Accelerated Reading Programme. Angela Mervyn, Education Programme Manager of the West Belfast Partnership Board, , spoke about the benefits of the programme, followed by the Principal, Miss Keegan, and the Literacy Coordinator, Mr Lennon. It was then the turn of four of the pupils, Ronan, Anna, Sophia and Ryan, to outline what they liked about the programme and how they used it effectively.
A special thank you to all of our sponsors who have donated vouchers and gifts to allow us to reward the efforts of our pupils.
