Friendship Four Tournament
On Wednesday 27th November Ice hockey players from Colgate University in New York State visited our school as part of their trip to Belfast to take part in the Friendship Four Tournament. They met with our Primary 5 and Primary 7 pupils, took part in a question and answer session and shared their Ice hockey skills with us. Some of our primary 7 boys and girls then demonstrated both Gaelic and soccer moves for them. Friendship Four is an international hockey tournament which showcases the best up and coming ice hockey talent. Venturing from across the Atlantic Ocean to compete for the Belpot trophy, teams from North Eastern University, The University of New Hampshire, Colgate University and Princeton University are taking part in the Tournament at the SSE arena this weekend, and some of our pupils have been lucky enough to get tickets for the matches. We hope you enjoy the tournament and good luck to the guys from Colgate University!
