Girls' Football Success
18th Apr 2024
(From Mrs Devlin)
Another brilliant day for the St. Kevin's Girls' Gaelic Football team as they easily made their way into the Championship Final on Wednesday, 17th April, on a score line of 5-8 to 1-3 against St. Aloysius P.S., Lisburn. In every position, the St. Kevin's girls outperformed their opponents. The twin pillars of Rioghnach and Rhea caught virtually every ball in midfield and drove forward brilliantly. The defence easily dealt with the balls coming in. Then there were the super subs running in to support the play.
A massive massive thank you to Coach James and the O'Donnell's G.A.C for all they do for our school. Also thank you to Mrs. Finnegan who does Gaelic Coaching for the girls on Wednesday now.
