Yesterday we celebrated Grandparents' Day as part of Catholic Schools Week in St Kevin's. The day began with a prayer service in St John's Church celebrating grandparents, followed by a visit to their grandchild's classroom and a cuppa and a chat in the hall afterwards. The school was a hive of activity, with children proudly showing their nannies and grandads all around the school and introducing them to their friends and teachers. Grandparents' Day is a very special day in our school community!
